Location and access to public transport
The Hotel is very old and Air Con is not designed to support new age of the lifestyle. Air Con got to be replace with modern units!
The location of the hotel was pretty good.
I wish they had breakfast including
No Wi-Fi in rooms.
Proximity to city centre
The area. The outdated furniture and the noisy air conditioner.
Best price for a hotel located in downtown Toronto.
The hotel was conveniently located near the Rogers Centre where we had tickets for a Blue Jays game. The hotel was also reasonably priced. We appreciated the location near a park which offered some tranquility in the big city. We were pleasantly surprised by the value for money the hotel offered. It was nice to have a fridge and stove. You might want to advertise this feature in your e-mail account as I could find no reference to these facilities when making an on-line application.
Just a comment. We noticed that we could open the front door without using the key by just pushing it a bit. We pushed it by accident once. You might want to secure the front door.
The hotel is close to comercial streets, kesington market and Chinatown
It was not enought clean
Was within walking distance of downtown, at a modest price
Proximity to downtown. Easy access to National Yacht Club at bottom end of Bathurst St. Clean room and neat to see park with Tai Chi participants.
Fan on elevator couls use an overhaul of its bearings
very good location - just step away from awesome queen west st and kensigton market as well as other interesting tourist places like f.e. art gallery ontario. also downtown (financial district) not far.hotel is at safe place.room was clean, big advantage compared to europe is possibility to choose smoking/no smoking room for those who enjoy tobacco
Very calm room. Internet working very well. Old furniture, but comfortable bed. Refrigerator, microwave oven, electric range, plates & utensils
Hotel a bit isolated for solo traveler who likes to walk around
The hotel was chosen for it's location and low price. It fulfilled both.
I found the bed was too soft. I woke with a backache.
The best things were the location, next to Chinatown, and walkable to most of downtown Toronto. Also the area is very quiet bearing in mind it's location. Finally our room had a perfect view of the nearby cn Tower.
The room was a little dated - although clean. The air-con unit in our room was noisy when on, and the staff were not particularly customer focussed or friendly - and just did the minimum.
Good location and good budget accommodation!
A bit hard to find as street is very small and not on some maps. Guests should be directed to Bathurst at Carr!
The location of the hotel was good, close to the nice shopping area in Queen street
Although the location is very good, is the price to high for the level of comfort that is offered.
